Every temporary worker who joins Corus will go through our in-house compliance process. This process varies depending on the specific industry you work in. See our PDF documents below for further information on the compliance requirements for each sector.
References - When joining Corus we will require 2 previous employers or at least 2 years of references with details on how to contact them by phone, email and post. In addition, we will require at least 1 character reference who has known you for at least 5 years and is not related.
Our compliance team will contact all your references to obtain any information we may require. We always require at least 2 references for each candidate, however certain clients may require further referencing. We will of course keep all candidates fully aware of what a client requires.
Change of details -
If any of your important information changes you must let us know immediately. For example, if you move home, you must let us know your new address as soon as possible and provide proof of your new address.
Furthermore, if you have a new contact number, email address, or bank details you must notify us immediately to ensure you don't miss out on shifts or delay payments.
Legislation and Regulations
Certain clients or industries may require mandatory training or specific checks to be carried out either during or before your employment commences with Corus. Our compliance team may have to contact you regarding DBS checks or any training you may need to attend.
